Standing ovations after three bonus pieces was the reflection Zurich audience gave to future Chief Conductor of Tonhalle Orchestra - Maestro Paavo Järvi. Swiss Estonian Association in cooperation with Tonhalle and several sponsors welcomed the Maestro and Orchestra after the concert for a cocktail reception. The event was honoured with the presence of h.E. Estonian Culture Minister Indrek Saar, h.E. Ambassador of Estonia for Switzerland Rein Oidekivi, Estonian Honorary Consul in Zürich Hans Graf and in Geneva Matteo Inaudi as well as Advisors to Estonian Ministry Silver Meikar and Indrek Sakkeus. This extraordinary night did not just set a new music standard in Zurich. It made each and every Estonian so proud to be Estonian. So proud to have Estonian roots. So proud to personally know this Estonian designer of world music landscape! The jubilee year was officially launched in Switzerland in the most breathtaking way!
